Data Entry Associate (Remote)

About the role

Positive Behavior Steps is looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Data Entry Associate to join our remote team. You will be responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and managing client and program data across multiple systems, directly supporting our behavioral health services.

Key responsibilities

• Enter, update, and maintain client records, program data, and operational information in company databases.
• Review and verify data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency before entry.
• Process incoming data from clinical, administrative, and operations teams.
• Identify and correct data discrepancies promptly.
• Generate data reports for internal review.
• Maintain organized digital filing systems in compliance with company policies.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure data integrity.
• Assist with data migration, cleansing, and database projects as needed.
• Handle all data confidentially in compliance with HIPAA.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
• 0–2 years of data entry, administrative, or healthcare‑related experience.
• Excellent typing speed (40–50 WPM) and strong attention to detail.
• Self‑motivated, reliable, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Passion for behavioral health and community impact.
