Creative Designer

About the role

The Creative Designer will join an established fashion and apparel brand to shape seasonal collections across multiple categories, including ready‑to‑wear, lingerie, knitwear, and swimwear. Reporting to the design leadership, the role works closely with technical design, product development, and global vendor partners to bring concepts from sketch to final product.

Key responsibilities

• Design across RTW, lingerie, knitwear, and swimwear, creating detailed sketches, CADs, and artwork.
• Develop and maintain tech packs and bills of materials in collaboration with technical design and product development.
• Participate in fit sessions, communicate fit corrections through live fittings and 3D CAD revisions.
• Maintain accurate product information, including fabric descriptions, construction details, and copy.
• Create and update internal design line sheets and seasonal collection tools.
• Support and prioritize the workload of a part‑time Design Assistant.
• Communicate regularly with overseas vendors and factories to track development, approvals, and sample progress.
• Conduct trend, market, vintage, and competitive research to inform seasonal concepts.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of experience in fashion design within a contemporary or specialty apparel environment.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fit, and manufacturing processes across multiple categories.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple seasons and deadlines simultaneously.
• Collaborative, solution‑oriented, and comfortable in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Experience with Procreate (a plus).
• Strong sketching and CAD skills.
