Corporate Buyer

About the role

We are looking for an energetic and ambitious Buyer to coordinate, report, purchase and maintain all inventory levels and related activities for assigned locations or product categories. The role will communicate with all locations, support the Sales and Operations group, and help meet company inventory goals and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Maximize inventory turns and working capital by reviewing daily stock requirements and procuring stock as needed.
• Maintain and update P21 stock replenishment settings and manage excess and obsolete inventory.
• Negotiate with suppliers, review freight programs, and consolidate suppliers to improve profit margins.
• Conduct inventory cadence calls, transfer stock between locations, and support new item and stock add requests.
• Analyze inventory levels, supplier OTD performance, and provide daily, weekly and monthly inventory reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field with a strong understanding of supply chain management.
• 2‑5 years of inventory and purchasing experience, preferably in industrial distribution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with ERP systems such as P21.
