Controller – $195K‑$200K + Bonus (Hybrid)

About the role

LHH is recruiting a Controller for a fast‑growing medical‑device company in Plano. The position offers a competitive salary, a performance bonus and a hybrid work model (four days onsite, one day remote).

Key responsibilities

• Lead the month‑end close, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations and variance analysis
• Prepare and review GAAP‑compliant financial statements
• Oversee audit processes and coordinate with external auditors and tax partners
• Manage fixed‑asset accounting, cash‑flow forecasting and overall financial controls
• Ensure compliance with federal, state and local tax requirements, including sales and use tax
• Maintain and improve accounting systems, processes and internal controls
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to support business performance reporting
• Direct budgeting, forecasting and SG&A spend controls
• Supervise, mentor and develop accounting staff

Required profile

• 10+ years of progressive accounting experience with leadership responsibility
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; CPA preferred
• Background in consumer products, retail or eCommerce environments is ideal
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, high‑growth setting
• Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
