Director of Strategic Finance

About the role

Candid Health is hiring its first Strategic Finance leader at the director level. You will partner with GTM, Product, and Engineering teams to turn financial data into strategic decisions that shape the company’s growth trajectory.

Key responsibilities

• Lead revenue forecasting, annual planning, quarterly updates and monthly reporting.
• Prepare board and investor presentations, translating complex financial data into clear narratives.
• Define unit economics, calculate CAC/LTV by segment, and collaborate on pricing and packaging for software and services.
• Analyze capital allocation opportunities, including TAM assessments, new product launches, partnerships and M&A.
• Drive AI‑enabled FP&A transformation, moving beyond manual Excel to automated variance analysis and rolling forecasts.

Required profile

• Proven experience owning forecasting and analytical decision‑making in a high‑growth environment.
• Strong communication skills, able to tell compelling financial stories to non‑finance stakeholders.
• Hands‑on “player‑coach” mindset, building templates and systems while mentoring a future finance team.
• Entrepreneurial attitude with a focus on leveraging AI and automation to accelerate finance processes.
