About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking a contract Physical Therapist to join the Kids First clinic in Pocahontas. The role focuses on delivering evidence‑based evaluation and treatment to children from birth to five years old who present with gross‑motor delays or disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Assess and treat pediatric patients using best‑practice physical therapy techniques.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of clinicians, educators, and researchers.
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide supervision and guidance to Physical Therapy Assistants when required.

Required profile

• Current Arkansas Physical Therapy license.
• Eligibility to work in the United States on day one of employment.
• Full COVID‑19 vaccination or an approved exemption.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pediatric gross‑motor development and therapeutic interventions.
• Ability to apply evidence‑based evaluation and treatment methods.
