Construction Project & Cost Coordinator

About the role

Izinga is seeking a Construction Project & Cost Coordinator to support a U.S.-based real‑estate finance company. You will bridge construction operations and finance by managing construction draw processes for residential renovation and ground‑up projects across the United States.

Key responsibilities

• Review construction draw requests against approved budgets and line items.
• Validate invoices, receipts, estimates, photographs, inspection reports and other project documentation.
• Track prior draws, remaining budgets, project progress and outstanding requirements.
• Coordinate inspections and ensure required documentation is received.
• Communicate with contractors, borrowers, inspectors, vendors and internal teams.
• Identify inconsistencies between costs, scope, documentation and budgets, flagging potential variances.
• Maintain accurate project data in client systems, trackers and spreadsheets.

Required profile

• Experience in construction project coordination, cost control, estimating, quantity surveying, project controls, procurement, technical documentation, or real‑estate development.
• Background roles such as Project Coordinator, Cost Controller, Cost Engineer, Estimator, Quantity Surveyor, Project Controls Specialist, or Construction Administrator are relevant.
