Construction Manager / Superintendent

About the role

Lead high‑impact construction projects for Siemens Energy’s new production facility in Jackson, MS. As the Construction Manager/Superintendent you will oversee daily on‑site activities, ensure compliance with standards and safety regulations, and act as the primary liaison between the project team, contractors, consultants and authorities.

Key responsibilities

• Direct on‑site construction execution, guaranteeing adherence to Siemens Energy standards, OSHA requirements and all regulatory obligations.
• Coordinate planning, organization and control of project delivery, including scope definition, scheduling, budgeting and design coordination.
• Manage external partners and consultants, assign responsibilities, review schedules and integrate vendor activities.
• Monitor, track and report project performance on cost, schedule, quality, staffing, risks and progress; prepare status updates and management presentations.
• Oversee construction documentation and administrative tasks such as permits, inspections, daily logs, contractor reports, cost tracking, change management and regulatory compliance.
• Identify and mitigate project risks while maintaining strong stakeholder communication.
• Drive continuous improvement, digitalisation and sustainability initiatives across project execution.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in construction, civil, MEP engineering, architecture or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience managing or supporting construction projects for office, production or warehouse facilities, preferably in an international or multicultural environment.
• Project management certifications (e.g., PMP, IPMA) or contract management experience are a plus.
