Construction Manager, Lead

About the role

As a senior facilities professional, you will lead construction management for a high‑value hypersonic test facility program. The position supports both design and construction phases of a $1.5 billion portfolio of repair, renovation, space alteration, and building improvement projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review design documents for accuracy, constructability, and compliance with federal standards.
• Participate in design kick‑off, review, and coordination meetings.
• Maintain comprehensive project records, daily and monthly progress reports, and budget cost accounting.
• Manage scheduling, submittal coordination, progress payments, safety inspections, testing, and RFI processes.
• Oversee contract modifications, claims, labor provisions, and final inspections through substantial completion and settlement.
• Coordinate between users, plant resources, vendors, and contractors to achieve timely, cost‑effective results.

Required profile

• 15+ years of experience managing design and construction projects.
• Proven ability to manage individual projects and large programs simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of national, state, and local building codes and regulations.
• Excellent collaboration skills with stakeholders, contractors, tenants, and government agencies.
• Track record of delivering projects on schedule and within budget.
