Construction Manager

About the role

The Construction Manager will lead large, complex building projects across all phases, from pre‑construction through warranty. Working primarily on‑site in the South Bay region, the role collaborates closely with project leadership, clients, architects, and contractors to ensure projects meet cost, schedule, quality, and client‑vision goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities, including budget and schedule monitoring, RFI and submittal reviews, and change‑order management.
• Prepare and deliver daily construction observation reports and regular progress updates to clients.
• Facilitate communication among owners, architects, contractors, and vendors to resolve field issues promptly.
• Coordinate delivery and installation of FF&E and other owner‑contracted services.
• Participate in OAC meetings, conduct field walks, and support project commissioning and closeout.
• Develop and maintain project standards, produce meeting agendas, minutes, and client reports.
• Travel periodically to project sites, client offices, and corporate locations as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience managing large, multi‑disciplinary construction projects.
• Strong ability to interpret contracts and manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, architects, and consultants.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
• Willingness to work on‑site and travel within the region.
