Construction Foreman – West Monroe, LA

About the role

Saiia Construction, a MasTec company, is seeking an experienced Foreman to lead daily activities on a heavy‑civil construction site in West Monroe, LA. You will coordinate crews, equipment, and materials to keep the project on schedule, within budget, and compliant with all specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise personnel and equipment, planning work schedules, manpower levels, and material/equipment quantities.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other managers to ensure long‑term site success.
• Maintain adherence to operating standards, manage labor hours and expenses, and enforce quality control of drawings and specifications.
• Prepare and submit daily reports documenting hours worked, equipment usage, material consumption, and production metrics.
• Operate the company truck to inspect equipment, monitor employee activities, and support site processes.
• Maintain a daily log of all site activities and coordinate with departments such as Operations, Accounting, Transportation, and Human Resources.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising construction crews on heavy‑civil projects.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, and safety standards.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
• Excellent communication skills for liaison with multiple internal departments.
