Commercial Attorney – Remote, Permanent

About the role

We are seeking a Commercial Attorney to join a leading global investment research and insights firm. The position is fully remote and permanent, focusing on commercial contracting, regulatory compliance, and legal innovation within a fast‑growing US operation.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements such as client contracts, vendor agreements, and NDAs.
• Collaborate with senior legal team members to deliver timely support to commercial teams and ensure contracts meet internal policies and legal standards.
• Provide guidance on US financial services regulations, securities law, and data privacy requirements, maintaining compliance across business units.
• Assist in developing and delivering training sessions for commercial and HR teams.
• Contribute to legal technology initiatives, including contract lifecycle management tools and AI‑driven solutions, to streamline workflows and promote self‑service options.

Required profile

• Law degree from an accredited US law school.
• Active bar admission in a US state (Texas or New York preferred).
• Experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts.
• Strong interest in financial services regulations and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex legal matters clearly.
