Clinic Nurse – Geriatrics (Omaha, NE)

About the role

We are seeking a registered nurse who is passionate about caring for older adults to join our Geriatrics Clinic in Omaha, NE. This full‑time position works Monday‑Friday, 8:30 AM‑5:00 PM, with no weekend, holiday or on‑call requirements. You will collaborate closely with providers and clinical staff to meet the unique needs of aging patients.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate delivery of clinical resources to ensure safe, high‑quality patient care.
• Maintain continuity of care for short‑term, non‑acute, non‑life‑threatening patient needs.
• Work side‑by‑side with physicians and other team members in a collaborative clinic environment.

Required profile

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) or nursing diploma.
• Effective communication skills, initiative, teamwork and flexibility.
• Active RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification endorsed by the American Heart Association.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification where department‑dependent.
• Preferred: experience in primary‑care or specialty clinic settings and a BSN or higher.

Required skills

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification (as required).
• RN licensure (Nebraska or compact).
• Clinical resource coordination.
