Chef de Cuisine – Michelin Star Restaurant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Chef de Cuisine to support our Executive Chef at Valle, a one‑star Michelin restaurant. You will act as the right‑hand leader, driving menu innovation, overseeing kitchen operations, and helping us earn a second star.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the culinary team, acting as senior management and liaison with the dining room.
• Supervise preparation and cooking of all menu items, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Develop and implement creative menu concepts aligned with the restaurant’s vision.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute special events and holiday functions.
• Manage hourly kitchen staff through scheduling, payroll, training, coaching, evaluation, and hiring.
• Monitor food production, ordering, cost control, and daily quality standards.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work environment and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Maintain accurate recipe documentation and contribute to menu revisions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a Michelin‑starred restaurant.
• Strong leadership and team‑coaching abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining high culinary standards.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
