Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) – Full‑Time

About the role

Evergreen Family Medicine is seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) to join its Roseburg clinic. You will support providers in delivering outpatient, urgent‑care, women’s health, and occupational health services.

Key responsibilities

• Room patients, take vitals, review medication and history, and prepare for exams.
• Assist with a variety of procedures including paps, stitch removal, ear‑wax removal, injections, circumcisions, and other minor surgeries.
• Perform EKGs, spirometry, and set up imaging appointments (mammograms, DEXA, US, CT, MRI, stress tests, echo).
• Complete lab work such as rapid strep, mono, hemocult, urinalysis, and manage specimen processing.
• Administer immunizations, document patient visits, and handle medication refills.
• Maintain inventory, order supplies weekly, and ensure equipment (autoclave, refrigerator) is clean and functional.
• Conduct phone triage, schedule appointments as directed, and communicate results to patients.
• Perform monthly quality assurance checks and record refrigerator temperatures.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED and at least one year of experience as a CCMA.
• Valid Oregon CCMA certification and current BLS certification.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and knowledge of HIPAA regulations.
• Ability to use ICD‑10 coding for labs and diagnostics.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
