CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A drivers for linehaul operations at its Lakeland, FL service center. Drivers pull van or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations and return home each night, enjoying daily home time and a vacation package after 90 days.

Key responsibilities

• Operate 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on linehaul routes between company service centers and designated turn‑points.
• Complete each run and return to home base daily, ensuring on‑time delivery of freight.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least one year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past three years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, no more than three moving violations in the past three years) and age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military transition qualification).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical capability to bend, lift and stoop safely and dependability for daily home‑return schedules.
