CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Drivers for its Pearl, MS service center. Drivers pull van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations, returning home each day. The position is full‑time with a variety of shift options, Monday through Friday.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations.
• Complete each linehaul run and return home daily.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (MVR and PSP) with no serious violations and no more than three moving violations in the past three years.
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA specifications for military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass a pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and successful road test.

Required skills

• Safe operation of van trailers up to 53’ and double trailers.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
