CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers to transport van trailers up to 53’ or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home each night, enjoy a regular Monday‑Friday schedule and benefit from a strong vacation and resort program.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver 53‑foot van trailers or double trailers on scheduled routes.
• Maintain on‑time delivery performance between service centers and designated turn‑points.
• Adhere to all safety, DOT and company policies while on the road.
• Complete pre‑employment DOT physicals, drug screens and road tests.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Clean driving record (no serious violations, ≤3 moving violations in the past 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition specs).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift and stoop without difficulty.

Required skills

• CDL Class A operation.
• Experience with double‑trailer handling.
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred).
• Experience hauling LTL freight (preferred).
