CDL‑A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking experienced CDL‑A Linehaul Drivers to transport van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home daily and can earn up to $95,000 per year.

Key responsibilities

• Pull and deliver van trailers (up to 53') or double trailers on scheduled routes.
• Operate equipment safely and comply with DOT regulations.
• Complete pre‑employment road test and maintain a clean driving record.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any issues.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 1 year of verifiable Class A experience in the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, max 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 with FMCSA military‑to‑civilian transition).
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.

Required skills

• CDL Class A
• Haz‑mat endorsement (preferred)
• Tanker endorsement (preferred)
• Doubles/Triples endorsement (preferred)
• LTL freight handling experience (preferred)
