Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison

About the role

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals is seeking an experienced Cardiometabolic Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join its Medical Affairs team. This field‑based position will focus on building scientific relationships with cardiology and endocrinology professionals to support the company’s RNAi‑based therapeutic pipeline.

Key responsibilities

• Engage cardiologists, endocrinologists, and other healthcare professionals to discuss clinical and scientific evidence.
• Educate stakeholders on RNAi technology, hypertriglyceridemia, familial chylomicronemia syndrome, and hypercholesterolemia.
• Synthesize and relay clinical insights to internal teams.
• Attend and present at scientific congresses to stay current on cardiometabolic advances.
• Respond to unsolicited inquiries in line with MSL compliance standards.
• Support company‑sponsored clinical trials through investigator site engagement.
• Assist with speaker training and ensure up‑to‑date disease knowledge.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Medical Science Liaison in the cardiometabolic therapeutic area.
• Strong scientific communication skills and ability to build professional relationships.
• Knowledge of RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutics and related disease mechanisms.
• Ability to work independently in a field‑based environment and travel within assigned territories.
