CAD Design Engineer – Gas Turbine Enclosures

About the role

We are looking for an experienced CAD Design Engineer to join our client site in Mabank, TX for a 12‑month fixed‑term assignment. The role serves as the on‑site liaison between the client and offshore engineering teams, ensuring seamless communication and delivery of design work.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop gas turbine enclosure components using Creo.
• Gather and translate technical requirements from the client.
• Manage change requests and documentation in Windchill.
• Conduct quality reviews of offshore deliverables before client submission.
• Coordinate with offshore engineers to resolve design issues and maintain schedule.

Required profile

• Proven experience in CAD design for mechanical or industrial applications.
• Strong understanding of gas turbine enclosure design principles.
• Ability to work on‑site and act as a bridge between distributed teams.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
