Business Intelligence Analyst – Sales Planning & Performance

About the role

Sephora is looking for a Business Intelligence Analyst to support sales planning and performance across its North America business. You will turn complex data into clear insights that guide strategic decisions for both brick‑and‑mortar and digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze large, multi‑source datasets to identify trends, risks, and growth opportunities.
• Create and maintain visually compelling reports, dashboards, and presentations for executive leadership.
• Partner with Finance, Digital, Merchandising, Retail, and LVMH teams to support strategic initiatives and business planning.
• Develop and optimize BI tools and SQL queries to improve reporting efficiency and data accuracy.
• Support forecasting efforts and ad‑hoc analyses that influence business strategy.
• Translate analytical findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or sales analytics, preferably in retail, beauty, or consumer products.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex data.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

Required skills

• Advanced SQL for joining complex datasets and building scalable queries.
• Proficiency with Business Intelligence tools, specifically Tableau.
