Business Affairs Manager

About the role

Lawyers on Demand is seeking a Business Affairs Manager to support an international technology client on a remote, six‑month assignment with the potential to extend. You will work closely with marketing, legal and cross‑functional teams to ensure all commercial agreements and licensing rights are secured and compliant.

Key responsibilities

• Provide guidance on advertising regulations, third‑party licensing rights and rights management.
• Identify and implement solutions for high‑risk production scenarios and business challenges.
• Negotiate and execute complex marketing agreements, including sponsorships, content and music licenses, celebrity deals and co‑marketing arrangements.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external agencies to ensure deliverables meet legal standards and brand requirements.
• Advise on process improvements, develop efficiencies and maintain expertise in contractual obligations.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in a top or mid‑tier law firm or in‑house legal role.
• Strong commercial mindset, client‑centric attitude and ability to hit the ground running.
• Experience partnering with businesses and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Bonus: licensed to practice law in the United States (not required).
