About the role

Santander is seeking a Branch Operations Manager to lead daily operations at its Edgartown, MA location on Martha’s Vineyard. In this role you will ensure efficient, secure branch performance while delivering exceptional customer service and supporting team development.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee cash handling, vault and ATM custodianship, and conduct regular cash counts and audit logs.
• Manage lobby operations to optimize customer flow, resolve issues promptly, and maintain a welcoming environment.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements to mitigate operational risk.
• Support teller line activities, provide coaching, and give feedback to maintain transaction accuracy.
• Engage customers through digital channels, promote self‑service options, and build strong relationships to enhance loyalty.
• Utilize data‑driven insights to improve branch performance and operational efficiency.
• Assist neighboring branches when business needs arise.

Required profile

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
• Demonstrated ability to perform essential duties in a fast‑paced banking environment.
• Strong communication skills for in‑person, phone, and digital interactions.
