Bookkeeper / Accountant (AR/AP) – Remote

About the role

Archer Air Conditioning & Plumbing is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper/Accountant to manage accounts receivable and payable for a growing service business. The position starts part‑time with a clear path to full‑time, and all work is performed remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily bookkeeping and perform monthly reconciliations in QuickBooks Online.
• Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable, ensuring timely processing.
• Track job costing and report profitability per project.
• Process payroll and calculate weekly commissions.
• Prepare monthly financial statements including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow.

Required profile

• 8+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience.
• Strong confidence using QuickBooks Online.
• Experience with job costing in a service‑based or trade business.
• Proven ability to calculate commissions on a weekly basis.
• Fluent English communication and ability to work independently.

• Compensation: $500‑$1,000 per month plus up to 20% bonus.
