Automotive Service Technician – Certified Technician

About the role

Mercedes‑Benz of Hampton is seeking a certified Automotive Service Technician to join its full‑time service team. You will work in a clean, temperature‑controlled shop, providing high‑quality repairs and diagnostics for a range of luxury vehicles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform repair order tasks efficiently while adhering to dealership policies.
• Test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment; conduct test drives as needed.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair automotive systems to manufacturer specifications.
• Communicate directly with Service Advisors to keep customers informed of additional service requirements.
• Complete online multi‑point inspection reports and execute warranty repairs.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Strong work ethic, fast learner, and excellent written and verbal communication.
• Team player with good customer‑service orientation.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean record.

Required skills

• Proficiency with electronic diagnostic equipment and other diagnostic tools.
• Ability to use general automotive repair tools.
• Computer literacy for service software and multi‑point inspection reporting.
