Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join the Classic Hyundai team in North Wilkesboro. In this role you will be the primary point of contact for customers bringing their vehicles in for service, ensuring a smooth and professional experience from arrival to departure. The position requires strong knowledge of dealership service operations and a commitment to delivering high‑quality customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, assess their service needs, and create accurate service orders.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate workflow with technicians and parts department.
• Provide clear explanations of recommended maintenance and repair work.
• Track service progress, update customers, and manage any changes to the work order.
• Prepare and present invoices, process payments, and ensure proper documentation.
• Maintain dealership service software and customer records.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a service advisor in an automotive dealership.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast‑paced service environment.
