Associate, Strategic Finance

About the role

As a member of Uber’s Strategic Finance team, you will help scale financial reporting, analytics and planning capabilities, empowering decision‑makers across the business. You will contribute to high‑profile strategic and operational initiatives and provide insights that drive real‑time decisions, supporting Uber’s growth and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with leaders to develop financial forecasts and operational goals.
• Apply business judgment and financial insights to support decisions on new initiatives, products and opportunities.
• Build and enhance sophisticated financial models to solve complex business problems.
• Execute projects and operationalise insights in collaboration with your team.
• Collaborate with accounting to shape management reporting and understand actuals.
• Support the Global Head of Marketing Finance in consolidating and analysing global marketing investments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, MIS or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, investment banking, consulting, private equity or operations.
• Proficiency with Excel or Google Sheets.
• Strong analytical abilities and attention to detail.
• Self‑starter with the ability to prioritize multiple projects in an ambiguous environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
