Associate Head Wrestling Coach

About the role

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Associate Head Wrestling Coach to support the head coach in leading the men’s wrestling program. This professional staff position involves planning, developing, and administering all phases of the team’s activities.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in daily operations, practice planning, and match preparation.
• Supervise student‑athletes during practices and competitions, providing technique instruction and performance evaluation.
• Lead recruiting efforts, maintain a database of prospective freshman and transfer athletes, and coordinate campus visits.
• Scout assigned opponents and provide strategic analysis to the coaching staff.
• Ensure compliance with university, state, and federal policies governing athletics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Minimum three years of coaching experience at the NCAA Division I level.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor student‑athletes and manage team operations.
