About the role
Greystar is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support the delivery of large‑scale development and construction projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Review project specifications, blueprints, and building plans, and supervise construction site personnel and contractors.
- Inspect and approve completed work, manage project budgets and expenses, and ensure compliance with safety and building codes.
- Participate in project planning meetings, contribute to scope of work, specifications, timelines, and construction schedules.
- Review bids and proposals, negotiate and approve contracts, and coordinate acquisition of materials and services.
- Recommend change orders or amendments to specifications and update related documents and budgets.
- Conduct routine quality‑control inspections, troubleshoot schedule issues, and report concerns to senior leaders.
- Provide regular status updates to equity partners, executives, and other key business leaders.
