About the role
The Assistant Manager – Property & Central Services supports the management of core facilities and financial processes for the New York branch of ANZ. You will ensure smooth operation of property, premises, health‑and‑safety and accounts payable activities while driving efficiency and compliance.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in day‑to‑day PSAP processes and monitor downstream HUB processing.
- Resolve payment breaks and manage accounts payable, reconciliations and expense tracking for NOSTRO and suspense accounts.
- Administer access to JP Morgan, Bank of Montreal and Federal Reserve accounts.
- Support compliance with NFR frameworks and internal control standards.
- Oversee branch health and safety, building security risk assessments and mailroom management.
- Manage front‑ and back‑office operating processes, landlord interactions and lease payments.
- Coordinate contractor and vendor management, including third‑party risk assessments.
Required profile
- Relevant experience in property/facilities management or central services within a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable, financial reconciliations and expense management.
- Knowledge of health‑and‑safety regulations and risk assessment procedures.
- Ability to work autonomously, assess risk and escalate issues when needed.
