Assistant Field Operator – West Berlin/Boston

About the role

The Assistant Field Operator supports the Field Operator and Field Engineer on geotechnical and environmental site investigations. You will gain hands‑on experience with drilling rigs, sampling equipment and geophysical instruments while learning basic maintenance and safety procedures.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, operate and maintain drilling equipment, sampling systems and geophysical instruments in accordance with company procedures.
• Assist engineers and technicians with field tasks, including data collection and equipment mobilization/demobilization.
• Perform routine maintenance on rigs and related machinery to ensure optimal performance.
• Follow ConeTec’s health and safety protocols, report incidents and contribute to a safe work environment.
• Progress toward certification on cone penetrometer and other specialized equipment.

• Ability to follow detailed procedures and work safely.
