About the role

We are a family‑run general contractor seeking an energetic, self‑starting Assistant Construction Superintendent to support commercial and multi‑family projects in the Greensboro, NC area and within a three‑hour travel radius. The role will work closely with the lead superintendent to ensure daily operations run smoothly and projects stay on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the job superintendent with daily construction activities and site coordination.
• Ensure safety, compliance and quality standards are consistently met.
• Communicate project progress to clients and project managers.
• Manage subcontractors, organize the construction site, and maintain documentation.
• Perform punch‑list inspections and oversee unit turnover.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in commercial or multi‑family construction.
• Reliable transportation for travel within a three‑hour radius of Greensboro.
• Strong project management and communication abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents.
• Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
