Armed Guard – Camp Bondsteel Kosovo (Secret Clearance Required)

About the role

The Armed Guard will provide comprehensive security services at Camp Bondsteel, a U.S. Army installation in Pristina, Kosovo. This position involves protecting the installation, its facilities, and tenants while maintaining a high level of vigilance and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Perform access control and entry screening for all personnel and visitors.
• Conduct roving patrols and monitor surveillance systems throughout the installation.
• Provide armed response and force protection as needed.
• Safeguard critical assets, including the gym, PX, Burger King, and MWR facilities.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of security activities.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
• Active U.S. Secret clearance (sponsorship possible).
• Minimum two years recent experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military operations.
• Completion of a state‑recognized security or law‑enforcement academy, or equivalent military training.
• Ability to pass NCIC/FBI background check, drug testing, and a physical ability test (1.5‑mile run ≤ 17:30, 21 push‑ups in 2 minutes).
• Clean criminal record and medically fit for duty.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, up to 48 hours per week, with possible overtime.
