Armed Guard – Camp Bondsteel, Kosovo (Secret Clearance)

About the role

We are seeking an Armed Guard to provide security and force protection at Camp Bondsteel, a U.S. Army installation in Pristina, Kosovo. The position involves access control, roving patrols, surveillance and safeguarding of the base’s facilities and tenants.

Key responsibilities

• Perform armed access control and entry screening for the installation and its amenities (gym, PX, Burger King, MWR).
• Conduct regular roving patrols and monitor surveillance systems to deter and detect threats.
• Respond to incidents, enforce base regulations and provide immediate protection for personnel and assets.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports and communication with the security chain of command.

Required profile

• U.S. citizen with a valid U.S. passport.
• Active or eligible U.S. Secret clearance (sponsorship possible).
• Minimum two years recent experience in armed security, armed law‑enforcement or military armed operations.
• Completion of a state‑recognized security or law‑enforcement academy or equivalent military training.
• Pass a physical ability test (1.5 mi run ≤ 17:30, 21 push‑ups in 2 min) and meet medical fitness standards.
• Ability to undergo NCIC/FBI background check, fingerprinting and random drug testing.
