AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE)

About the role

We’re hiring an AI Field Engineer / Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to join our high‑velocity AI team. You will work directly with ambitious AI‑native companies, turning complex AI challenges into production‑ready systems while collaborating with customers, account executives, and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to understand technical and business challenges and translate them into scalable AI solutions.
• Design, build, and deploy POCs, MVPs, and production AI applications, including LLM and generative AI workloads.
• Optimize inference infrastructure, manage GPU resources, and integrate open‑source models on cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with customer engineering teams, account executives, and internal product/engineering groups.
• Communicate architecture decisions and trade‑offs to both technical and executive stakeholders.
• Contribute code and product improvements to the platform and turn customer feedback into roadmap items.

Required profile

• 3–10 years of experience in a client‑facing technical or AI/ML engineering role.
• Strong Python programming skills and a proven track record building and deploying AI/ML or generative AI applications.
• Experience working with LLMs or open‑source AI models and delivering solutions from prototype to production.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical audiences.
• Comfort operating in ambiguous environments and a willingness to work hands‑on across engineering, product, and customer delivery.
