Advanced Manufacturing Instructor – Career & Technical Center

About the role

The Advanced Manufacturing Instructor will teach students in the Career & Technical Center, covering CNC machining, industrial automation, robotics, additive manufacturing, quality assurance, blueprint reading and related advanced manufacturing technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality classroom and hands‑on instruction in CNC machining, robotics, PLC automation, 3D printing and other advanced manufacturing processes.
• Develop and maintain industry‑aligned curricula that incorporate safety, quality and lean manufacturing principles.
• Prepare students for employment by providing practical training, project work and exposure to current manufacturing equipment.
• Assess student performance, provide feedback and support their academic progress.

Required profile

• Associate of Applied Science degree in Advanced Manufacturing or related field with relevant work experience; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Teaching experience at the secondary or post‑secondary level is strongly desired.
• Valid driver’s license.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CNC machines.
• Experience using CAD/CAM software.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
• Operation of fork lifts, drones and 3D printing equipment.
