About the role
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking qualified adjunct or part‑time lecturers to join its College of Humanities, Arts, Social Sciences & Education. Lecturers will teach undergraduate courses across a range of disciplines, develop instructional materials, and assess student performance.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction for assigned courses, both in‑person and, when applicable, online.
- Design and update syllabi, lesson plans, and course materials.
- Grade assignments, exams, and projects in a timely and consistent manner.
- Provide academic advising and support to students.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (required); Master’s degree preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to teach at the undergraduate level.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
