Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk

About the role

POOLCORP is seeking an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk to support its corporate office in Covington, LA. The role focuses on accurately entering and maintaining large volumes of financial information in the company’s systems.

Key responsibilities

• Enter text‑based and numerical data from source documents within established time frames.
• Compile, verify, and sort information to prepare it for computer entry.
• Review data for errors or deficiencies, correct incompatibilities when possible, and validate output.
• Apply data‑entry techniques and procedures, generate reports, and store completed work in designated locations.
• Perform backup operations and maintain confidentiality of all information.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in data entry with strong typing speed and accuracy.
• Attention to detail and trustworthy handling of confidential information.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Bilingual, military, military spouse, and veteran applicants are strongly encouraged.

Required skills

• Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Familiarity with data‑entry software and basic computer operations.
