Accounting Lead - Senior Manager

About the role

William Grant & Sons is seeking a results‑oriented Accounting Lead to oversee general ledger and tax functions within its finance organization. Based in Edison, NJ, you will ensure accurate, timely financial results while maintaining compliance with GAAP and US tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage general ledger processes to support timely financial reporting.
• Provide technical expertise across accounting, tax, cost accounting, supply‑chain analysis, and inventory management.
• Lead the inventory accounting process for finished goods and collaborate with operations to investigate and adjust inventory variances.
• Partner with the Supply Chain Finance Analyst to budget and monitor logistics, handling, and warehousing costs.
• Manage team performance and enforce consistent application of accounting policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in general ledger management and US tax regulations.
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting systems and cost accounting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership and a commitment to continuous process improvement.
