Academy Coach – Training & Development

About the role

The Academy Coach is responsible for designing, delivering, and overseeing training programs across multiple Academy locations, including virtual reality (VR) based sessions. The role blends classroom instruction, on‑site coaching, and continuous improvement to ensure associates meet performance standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee job‑related activities, building relationships with key stakeholders to meet business and customer needs.
• Conduct scheduled training classes, including VR training utilization and virtual classroom facilitation.
• Supervise, hire, train, and mentor associates, fostering a belonging mindset and recognizing achievements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ethics, and the Open Door Policy.
• Visit facilities to verify that classroom learnings translate into expected performance.
• Collaborate with peer Academy Coaches and leaders for content teach‑backs and co‑facilitation.
• Perform facilitation audits, support content development, and validate assessment accuracy with the Learning Services team.
• Assist associates with change initiatives through classroom and virtual training.

Required profile

• Strong ability to develop and maintain stakeholder relationships.
• Experience delivering both in‑person and virtual training sessions.
• Proven supervisory and mentorship skills.
• Commitment to compliance, ethics, and continuous learning.
• Analytical mindset to assess training impact and identify improvement opportunities.
