Youth Sports Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes, a multi-sport enrichment program serving children aged 18 months to 6 years, is looking for coaches for its program in Omaha. Coaches travel to preschool and daycare locations to run classes, using a non-competitive, positive-reinforcement approach so that every child learns the fundamentals of sports in a fun, stress-free way. The program offers a ready-made curriculum and extensive training.

Key responsibilities

• Teach classes in 10 different sports to children aged 2-6, visiting preschool and daycare sites
• Use a non-competitive approach and positive reinforcement to keep classes fun and encouraging
• Follow the Amazing Athletes Coaching Manual and curriculum, attend trainings and welcome feedback

Required profile

• Passion and previous experience working with preschool-age children (ages 2-6)
• Experience coaching or playing sports
• Availability Monday to Friday, 8:30-noon; weekends 8:00-1:00 are optional
