Youth Soccer, Multi-Sport, Martial Arts and Fitness Coach

About the role

Amazing Athletes, a part of the Youth Athletes United group, is hiring a part-time coach for its youth soccer, multi-sport and martial arts programs. The company aims to give every child a positive first sports experience, build healthy habits early and teach life skills. New coaches can work 5-10 hours a week.

Key responsibilities

• Lead children in fun and educational activities while keeping everyone safe
• Use individual attention so each child succeeds
• Use a non-competitive approach and positive reinforcement to make classes enjoyable and stress-free
• Follow the Super Soccer Stars / Amazing Athletes / Karate Zoo curriculum and attend regular trainings

Required profile

• Energetic, engaging and fun personality, able to work with children aged 5-12
• Enjoys working with children; prior experience as a sports coach, teacher, camper or leader is ideal
• Able to travel up to 45 minutes to class locations held at schools, parks and recreation centers
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
• Availability during school hours (mornings and afternoons) and on weekends
