Youth Soccer Coach - Fall 2026

About the role

ANTS Sports is looking for passionate, committed part-time youth soccer coaches for K-5th grade students in San Leandro for the Fall 2026 season. Coaches lead or assist weekly after-school sports programs in the Boys & Girls Club of San Leandro school communities, from September 2026 through December 2026. No previous coaching experience is required, as all coaches receive training.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a fun and safe weekly practice for children aged 5-10.
• Teach the fundamentals of sports through a cohesive, game-filled lesson plan; training is provided.

• Interact positively with parents, teachers and school staff.
• Set up before and clean up after each program, and transport sports equipment to and from class each week.

• Experience as a player or coach (at least two years) is highly valued but optional.

• Pay of $25-35 per hour.
• Ongoing support and training, and experience in early childhood sports education.
• Great coaches may return for the whole school year and summer/weekend programs.
