Youth Program Supervisor

About the role

The Youth Program Supervisor leads IRC's youth programming, overseeing operations, staff, partnerships, compliance, and strategic planning to deliver high‑quality services for vulnerable youth.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage youth programs aligned with IRC’s mission, ensuring compliance with donor and contractual requirements.
• Supervise, coach, and develop program staff and volunteers, providing training on best practices, positive youth development, and working with English Language Learners.
• Develop grant proposals, maintain relationships with school districts and community partners, and represent IRC youth programs to funders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree required; graduate degree in education, nonprofit management, social work or related field preferred.
• Minimum three years of experience working with youth (preferably refugee/immigrant) and two years of supervisory experience.
• Strong communication, relationship‑building, and collaboration skills across diverse cultures.

Required skills

• Experience with program design and implementation for vulnerable youth.
• Proficiency in using ETO and ARRPODS systems for recordkeeping.
• Valid driver’s license, personal insured vehicle, and ability to travel within the service area.
