Instructional Design Specialist - Training Expert / Lead (Top Secret)

About the role

Amentum is seeking an Instructional Design Specialist to support the Huachuca Training & Support Contract (HTASC), which delivers intelligence education, training and mission support at Fort Huachuca, Arizona. The position is full time and onsite, primarily in Tucson, AZ, and involves developing and improving courses for intelligence professionals.

Key responsibilities

• Provide instructional design and training development support for approximately 10-15 courses using the ADDIE process (Analysis, Development, Design, Implementation, Evaluation).
• Support HT-JCOE Computer Based Training (CBT) and Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) lesson plan development.
• Support the redesign and revision of HT-JCOE courses.
• Identify learning gaps, implement instructional design strategies and produce course content.
• Support all phases of the ADDIE model.

Required profile

• Top Secret security clearance with eligibility for SCI access (US citizenship required); secret clearance to start, with interim TS/SCI granted within 12 months.
• Master's degree in Curriculum Development.
• At least 3 years of experience in curriculum development, including 2 years in a DoD/military environment using the ADDIE process.
• At least 24 credit hours in adult education.

Required skills

• Ability to learn courses and content on a Learning Management System (LMS)
• Experience applying the ADDIE process
