Workplace Planning & Operations Manager

About the role

Quantcast is seeking a strategic, hands‑on Workplace Planning & Operations Manager to own the day‑to‑day functionality of its San Francisco headquarters while shaping the future of its office footprint. This full‑time, onsite position blends operational excellence with long‑term space planning to support a fast‑growing tech environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the San Francisco HQ and three remote offices, ensuring a functional, aesthetically aligned workspace.
• Serve as primary liaison for building management, vendors, and contractors; negotiate SLAs, manage contracts, and evaluate performance.
• Oversee space and occupancy planning, manage occupancy software, and analyze seating utilization data for growth or optimization.
• Control the workplace budget, including supplies, equipment, catering, and events; supervise procurement and asset tracking.
• Implement safety, emergency preparedness, and security protocols; maintain global audit schedules for compliance.
• Manage internal workplace technology stacks such as JIRA ticketing, access‑control systems, and the corporate intranet directory.
• Partner with the global workplace manager to design and execute internal events, culture initiatives, and localized communications.

Required profile

• 4‑5 years of experience in workplace services, facilities management, or corporate operations, with 1‑2 years in a supervisory role, preferably in a tech or fast‑paced environment.
• Proven project‑management track record delivering office projects, vendor relationships, and budgets from concept to completion.
• Strategic thinker able to translate occupancy and ticketing data into long‑term improvements.
• Excellent communication skills, comfortable interacting with executive leadership and external partners.
• Solution‑oriented mindset with the ability to juggle multiple high‑priority deadlines.
