Workforce Training Provider Manager (Columbia, SC)

About the role

The South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce is seeking a Workforce Training Provider Manager to oversee the statewide Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL) and the Workforce Pell approval process. This position will ensure compliance with federal regulations, guide policy improvements, and lead a team of staff members.

Key responsibilities

• Support data collection and analysis of provider and program denials, appeals, and outcomes.
• Use SCWOS/PATH analytics to perform data quality checks and recommend system and process enhancements.
• Expand the portfolio of training providers and programs to increase customer choice.
• Design, develop, implement, and continuously improve training approval processes in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage human‑resource activities for assigned staff, including training, development, documentation, coaching, and performance feedback.
