Workday Solutions Architect – Remote

About the role

Next Generation, Inc. is seeking a senior Workday Solutions Architect to lead design and implementation of Workday solutions for clients. The role is fully remote or hybrid and involves strategic advisory, governance, and hands‑on technical delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Design low‑level Workday solutions aligned with best practices and the NRF project methodology.
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and validate designs.
• Provide technical guidance, design audits, and mentorship to other Workday consultants.
• Manage complex issues, risks, and escalations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and continuous improvement of Workday configurations, integrations, reports, and dashboards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience designing and developing Workday solutions across multiple modules (HCM, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent & Performance, Compensation).
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills with ability to work with both technical and non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Workday certification(s) – Integration, Studio, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, Security, Prism Analytics or Adaptive Planning.
• Proficiency with Workday technologies: XML, XSLT, SOAP, REST, Web Services, EIB.
• Experience with Agile delivery methodology.
