Workday Extend Consultant – Technical Architecture

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Workday Extend Consultant to join its Architecture team in Richardson, TX. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable, secure Workday solutions that meet client performance, security and scalability requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with customers to gather and analyse system requirements for performance, security and scalability.
• Provide solution architecture recommendations, contribute to technology framework development and support enterprise architecture definition.
• Evaluate market technologies and tools, conduct comparative analyses and propose optimal architectural options.
• Develop integration strategies and validate proof‑of‑concepts for proposed solutions.
• Ensure knowledge transfer, quality standards compliance and support build‑and‑deployment automation.
• Collaborate with development teams to resolve complex technical issues during build, deployment and support phases.
• Analyse system performance of implemented architectures and identify potential risks.
• Create architectural artifacts and technical solution documentation for the team’s knowledge repository.

Required profile

• Strong ability to analyse, design and develop scalable and secure architectures.
• Experience assessing multiple technologies, tools and frameworks to recommend optimal solutions.
• Understanding of integration patterns and proof‑of‑concept validation.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and cross‑functional teams.
